With more than 15 years in practice in the field of family medicine, board-certified physician Soujanya Marupuru, MD, is a trusted practitioner for patients and their families. She’s currently accepting new patients at her private practice, with easy access to patients from Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert and Desert Hot Springs. 

Dr. Marupuru earned her Doctor of Medicine from the M S Ramaiah Medical College in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. After graduation, Dr. Marupuru relocated to the United States for her required patient-care training. She went on to complete a comprehensive family medicine residency through the highly reputed Kansas University, Salina Family Health program.

Continuing her education and training in an effort to offer the most comprehensive care is important to Dr. Marupuru. She maintains her board certification with the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Marupuru is dedicated to providing patient-centric care, where she spends quality time with patients during appointments and educates them about their health. Her goal is to make sure patients are informed, so they can be involved in all decisions regarding treatments and further health care.
